Sicamous is at the east end of Shuswap Lake, where the channel runs through town. Houseboats, marina lots, and houses back from the water. It is a longer trip than Canoe, Tappen, or Sorrento. Travel can be part of the price. We will say so before we come.
Cabins empty for months
A lot of places here are shut from fall until someone comes back for the summer. A limb can hang over the deck all winter. When you open the place, look up before you look at the dock. If something is split or hung, do not climb a ladder to pull it down.

The channel and tight lots
Lots along the channel are close together. A tree that falls the wrong way is in the neighbour's yard or on a dock. Tell us what is under the crown: roof, deck, boat, septic. There is often no open side to drop into, so the job is rigged down, not felled in one cut. That changes the price.
